Night Stand
November 4-27 2016
Presented by Feminist Image Group at the Women's Museum of California
Curated by Cindy Zimmerman and Anna Stump
The Women's Museum of California became both boudoir and barracks, as the Feminist Image Group, with invited guests, presented a series of night stand sculptures and installations. As inspired by Judy Chicago's "Dinner Party" and the historic "Womanhouse," each night stand suggests a woman, real or imagined, who sleeps next to it.
